Why did we change teentoday.co.uk?
Hi guys,
After almost 10 years of running teentoday.co.uk I decided to tear up everything I’ve done and start again. Why?
Honestly, I felt teentoday.co.uk was just like every other teen site: crappy film and music reviews of stuff no one liked, made-up horoscopes, rubbish advice that was patronising and useless, pics of fit lads that would make the most sexy guys feel insecure and too many adverts. Oh, and ugly, really ugly...it was all fluff and nonsense.. nothing that would challenge or inspire.
Some of you liked the old site, and it’s a shame, but there are lots of sites just like it out there. Hopefully most of you are looking for a fresh, different type of teen site.. and that’s we hope to bring. We’ve got daily debate, real advice, loads of ways to get involved, book reviews, your rants, the best of the web, fantastic diaries, inspiration and lots, lots more of your thought and opinions.
I was bored of soul-less UK teen sites and wanted to make a beautiful teen site that was different, and if that’s what you want, you’ve just found a new home.

Thanks for the comment !Actor!.. I don’t really see how it’s like every other teen site. Infact, that was the whole point - did you read what I wrote above? We took away everything that makes it like every other teen site, like the pink colours, stupid fit lad pics and other crap. We wanted to try something new. How do you think we can improve things?

Sorry Olly but I have to say, yes this is better than the ORIGINAL TeenToday, but compared to the half finished one that was on here before that you’ve replaced with this, this version is rubbish, it’s ugly. The idea is good but I just think the design is ugly, I perfer the one you had inbetween the original and this, you just need to finish it, and how do I log in, I liked the idea of having an account it made it unique, cos it was not only like a chat, it also had a social networking side, sorry mate but this quite honestly sucks.

Hey, I used to come on the site years ago but left when it changed before. I love the new look, it’s much older and nice looking. The old site was messy and too pink and girly. I love pink but sometimes it gets a bit too much on all the other sites. Anyway, see you all around x

What’s happened?! The one before this looked like someone with style designed it...this is back to the amateur look designed by someone without any idea of design! bring back the old one!!!

I don’t really mind the new teen Today I had been a member for about 7 months before coming on to the new Teen today so I do now what the old one was like to I liked it but I think I like this better than the old one.

Well, I just found the site. And I must say, I love the look.
It’s pretty easy to navigate too.
And some great stuff. Fantastic ideas I’ve not seen on many other sites.
