Who knows when/if it’s going to be released in the UK (update: we do now – The Fame – is released 26 January 2009), but at teentoday.co.uk towers, we can’t stop listening to Lady GaGa’s Just Dance, taken from her forthcoming album The Fame. Fusing pop, r n’ b and dance in a brilliant manner, we think Lady G is saucy, sassy and very very catchy – but what do you think, shit or hit?
Lady GaGa is a little bit Stefani, a little bit Aguilera (who totally ripped off GaGa’s image for her recent performance at the MTV VMAs) and a lot something completely different. Since Stefani is busy popping sprogs and Aguilera’s new single is crap, the time is ripe for a new, slightly mental diva to hit the charts – and The Fame, packed with potential hit after hit, proves Lady G is more than ready to take on the mantle. Not sure if we’ll be featuring her on our style pages just yet though…
Check out the vids for Just Dance and Poker Face and let us know what you think.
