Lindsay Lohan's out of control

Lindsay Lohan is spiralling out of control, according to one of the actress' closest pals who has gone to the US tabloids with the truth about the Mean Girls star's drug abuse in an effort to save her from herself.

The anonymous source passed a polygraph test with the National Enquirer after revealing all about troubled Lohan's cocktails of vodka, cocaine and painkillers. The story breaks a week after Lohan's mother Dina confirmed her daughter was seeking counselling in Alcoholic Anonymous meetings and less than a month after a doctor was called to her suite at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood following an alleged drug related incident.

Lohan's pal tells the Enquirer, "I watched Lindsay Lohan snort cocaine and pop OxyContin - then wash it all down with vodka. "I've spent many booze and drug-fuelled nights with Lindsay, and I'm only coming forward now because I want to save her life... At the rate she's going, Lindsay is headed for an early grave. "I've known Lindsay for the past two years, and she absolutely loves to get wasted. She makes Courtney Love look like a girl scout."
