Tom Jones leaves Nadine star struck

Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle was surprised at how calm she was while meeting actor John Travolta, insisting veteran rocker Tom Jones made more of an impression on her.

British Coyle, who is currently dating Desperate Housewives star Jesse Metcalfe, admits meeting Jones left her completely speechless.

She says, "All the time I get moments where I am just amazed by who I'm talking to. I've never really been star struck bar Tom Jones - I was totally awestruck, I couldn't even speak. "He was one of the first famous people I met. Then you realise people are normal whatever they do."

"But it is impressive if someone walks in and you've watched them your whole life, like John Travolta. You can't not be impressed by that. "I'm a big fan but I'm just a bit better at covering it up now - I don't giggle - I just act as normal as I can then scream when I get outside."
