We’re just over half way through the year. What is your favourite read from this year so far? Let’s see if it stays the same by the time we get to Christmas!

As of today, mine has to be either The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova OR Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier. =) =)
But, if I have to choose between them: The Historian has to win.

i havnt really bought any i might pop in whsmiths when am next in town and have a look

Somme mud is very good, bu ti went to beligium and had the battlefeild experience so it wouldn’t be the same as some body lse reading it, if that makes sense haha x

Then what’ve you read that WASN’T released in 2009? What’s your favourite book that you’ve personally read this year?
I think I’ve only bout 2 books what were released this year - most of the books I’ve read have been mid-18th to early-19th century novels!
Though, The Historian was released in 2006 [I think]...

I read quite a phew newish 2008-09 releases :D x
The Host is my recentest :D x

Wide wide sea is about the best one I have read this year.

I read EVERY SINGLE Mr.men book to my 3 year old neice-tut- she would not let me stop haha x
