Yes it is. It really really is. It's so hard to make people laugh, but to do it and to put a message across like they did just transcends art. Making people laugh is one thing, making them think at the same time just put you on another plane. No-one else did it like those three, Pryor was just as funny, but not as thought provoking. Sam Kinison relied on his persona too much and ultimately sold himself out and watered himself down to be considered to be on their level. But those three, hell the first two got arrested numerous times because they refused to water down their act.

And no really he's a nothing. A waste of spunk, his Dad should have pulled out ten seconds earlier. He should have been a blow job. A talentless jizz mopper, who makes Richard Blackwood look useful. He is a waste of time and space and the moment he fades into obscurity along with the rest of the current generation of poor comedians getting in my way the better.
And don't take this as a stab at current comedians being poor, it's not, there are some very good comedians around at the moment. None like the top three, except Carlin himself who still tours and of course possibly the best stand up Scotland has ever produced, Jerry Sadowitz. But there is still Ed Byrne who is very good, Dylan Moran is good too and Jim Jeffries is alright. There are a lot who are pretty good. But none of them are great.

As I said, I'm not saying that comedians around now are not good. There are plenty that are good. Just not in the same league. There's a level to be reached and it's not easy to get there.

And whoever mentioned Tommy Tiernan earlier on, he's a brilliant comic.

And Will, Russell Brand is still amazing in my opinion. And I can't really pass judgemennt over the other Comedians you mentioned because I havn't heard of them
But, yes Dylan Moran is Brilliant!

See Russsell Brand has some good material, but not the delivery.
And Will, Kitson could be up there, he's young, the beard decepts.
Frank Skinner also, I mean his stand up in the day was good, I saw his latest tour, and it gets better with age.
