for our school, make up depends on which tutor you're in. our tutor got so angry that she went to tescos and bought some remover and sent people to the head of house if they refused to take it off, but my mates tutor lets them wear loads of makeup. Jewellery again, depends on the teacher. some say just stud, some don't care and some say studs and small hoops. hair dye was allowed so long as it wasn't more than 2 colours, and not really bright, and we couldn't wear hoodies under our blazers, or coats, and we couldn't wear scarves during lessons. Girls uniform- Green Blazer with logo, Green and gold and house colour striped tie (should be high and longs but if you wear a jumper nobody notices) Black v-neck jumper with logo (hides untucked shirt v well) Shirt (should be tucked) black trousers black shoes (no high heels, but nobody cares. Someone was in stilletos before the hols.) Boys. Same, cept black blazer. Our uniform mught be changing soon, though. Black sweater, white polo, and black trousers. We also have a summer uniform. white polo, black trousers, v-neck OR blazer.

In my opinion, my former school was really a strict strict school. We were asked to wear an awful uniform. We were also mandated to wear socks which has a specific length. Our hairclips should be in colors black, green or white only. Our shoes also shouldn't be high heels and we weren't allowed with any jewelry except for a watch and a pair of simple earrings. I stayed in that school for about 13 years. Though they were strict still I found the policies habit forming which helped each of the students to be simple and still be happy.

We had to wear Black "Fruit of the Loom" jumpers, with Isaac Newton School's "Ship Logo" on it. Also, a white polo t-shirt and black TROUSERS. No trackies, etc.
And only one ring and a watch was to be worn. And only studs, no loop earrings.
It wasn't that strict, at Trinity they made you have crew cuts.
But yeah, we wasn't allowed off the site at break, wasn't allowed down the corridorrs at lunch, had to remove all coats in lessons, had to bring Pen, Pencil and Ruler and had to tidy up and put everything away before we were allowed to leave.
Sometimes work in COMPLETE silence.
Oh, and no MP3's or iPods were allowed, either. Along with any handheld consoles.
"STAY TO THELEFT OF THE CORRIDOOR WHEN YOUR WALKING, BURDICK! OR YOU'LL HAVE DETENTIONS FOR THE NEXT MONTH!" Oh wow, that was SO long ago.
Also, one teacher was especially bad. Kept handing out lines for spelling mistakes, and doubling the amount you had to do if you "forgot" to bring them in, when you had finished. I must be on, like, 800,000,000 sides by now, lol!
