ok, so hes being a bit of a pansy about his hair. "i feel really bad for weeks after having it cut" BUT STILL how stupid. i love lads having long hair. Jonny has longish hair, it used to be longer, but hes seeing how long it is before he gets told to put it in a ponytail in chemistry lol
if girls are allowed, boys should be allowed
ok if theyre making girls have really short hair too, even though thats also stupid, but, ugh. i hate stuff like this
my schools okish, we're not allowed nail varnish tho, which annoys me, its not a health hazard, so whats the problem? yeah some girls will have like, chipped bright blue sparkly varnish making them look scraggy, but to be honest, its more their scraggy scraggyness that makes them look scraggy.

Stop posting links to 'THIS' haha, I've opened about 10 new tabs to look at them all, post them on the threads haha.
Anyway our school uniform wasn't that bad, we had a uniform of: - School polo shirt (red or blue) and sweatshirt jumper (optional, blue) both with school logo on - Black trousers (didn't have to be actual trousers, I used to wear like half denim/half trouser kinda things, that aren't trousers but aren't jeans, they didn't let people wear jeans - Black shoes/boots, anything that looked smartish really - Boys couldn't wear shorts but girls could wear skirts, odd no?
They didn't like much hairwise, anything unusually coloured (blue, green, pink etc) they objected to, don't think they were that bothered with length The only earrings they said you could wear were really small ones or stude, none fo them hoop earrings or dangling ones and made you take them off.

my uniform, back in te day, was also polo-shirt, sweatshirt, black or grey trousers and black shoes.
i've never been a make-up girl but some girls used to wear loooooads and i dont think it was ever an issue. i did used to wear nail varnish though which was ok.
earings were only allowed if they were sleepers or studs and no other facial piercings were allowed.

the only thing that really got enforced at my school was trainers, everything else was kinda ignored to an extent.
