So, I'm starting mine and I wondered what you all thought about them.

If you have taken them, how did you find them? Easy? Do they seem to have got easier as the higher levels have gone up?

How much have they helped you? How did you revise and prepare? Do you see them as that important? Was a lot of pressure put on you or did you feel relaxed?

GCSEs! Discuss.

hey, i just newly shifted to the British System of Education. I am in Grade 11 of an international school that allows their students to do their 0-levels and math A-levels this year. I m so new to the entire system and feel really cut off. Do u think u cud mail me some of the Gce and Igcse papers?

Actually i m not sure which to pic for my subjects whether GCE/GCSE/IGCSE... advise pls!

To be honest, I don't know where to get some papers.

Do whats right for you. Look into the subjects your interested in and subjects your curious about. I picked Law out of curiousty. Also, think about the future and what subjects might help you.

If you go on the website of your exam boards, like OCR/AQA etc I think you'll get some on there, at least you do for A levels.

GCSEs aren't much to worry about to be honest, they seem so important at the time, but provided you getv whereever you want to aftyer that, like college, sixthform, apprenticeships etc, they're not important after that.

And as with anything you'll do better if you try harder, but seriously don't work too hard. You still need to enjoy yourselves!

it is sort of true. my ict course was all coursework, with no exam. going into the exam with a B from coursework seems a little bit high. a C sounds more realistic. GCSE's aren't things you should worry about. people who get really worried about the exam will stress out more, and mis-read questions, which will result in a lower grade
