the Noughts and Crosses trilogy

Noughts and Crosses
Knife Edge
and Checkmate

by Malorie Blackman. They're absolutely amazing. Definitely some of the best books iv ever ever read

Also, any of the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett. He's sooo funny. But please dont read the first page and then decide you dont like it, cos sometimes you sort of have to adjust to his humour. Genius though

A Clockwork Orange - Anthony Burgess
We - Yevgeny Zamyatin
The Catcher in the Rye - JD Salinger
Down and out in Paris and London - George Orwell

There's a few books I enjoyed.

I swear I replied to this.

Ah well.

I just said that this noob has taste \:p

Anything by George Orwell
LOTR - J.R.R.Tolkein
Frenchman's Creek - Daphne DuMaurier (or whatever her name is)
To Kill A Mockingbird - Harper Lee
Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen

I'm trying to remember what else is on my myspace . . .

Ah that'll do for now.

George Orwell kind of copied the idea of Nineteen 'Eighty-Four' from Yevgeny Zamyatin's 'We'.

They're both similar so if you like the Orwell one you will definitely like 'We'.

I have taste? Of course I do!

Really? I shall have a look next time I don't have my head in a book entitled something as thrilling as 'The Economic History of Britian Since 1700'

I like people with taste \:p

Weird, I should be reading a book similar to that for my History course!

The Industrial Revolution is pure boring.

Yeh, it wasn't my number one choice though. It was like third or fourth, which was a bit rubbish.I'm hoping the social bit of the course might be a bit more interesting than the BLOODY AGRICULTURAL REVOLUTION, which I am currently trying to write an essay on \:\(
