Before this week could properly get going, there was the small matter of the eliminated girl’s letter to deal with and Alisha found herself blubbing over Olivia’s. That would be the same Alisha that had a go at Kirsty for crying over Nicola’s letter. Double standards, much? It was up to straight-talking Joy to cast her dour eye over proceedings: ‘Another letter, another day. Get over it!’ And Alisha quickly did so. How do we know? Another mention that ‘the fire is coming’, of course.

Viewers have been predicting her exit for weeks on end, Grace Woodward never had a kind word to say about her and it took a shoot where she was covered in blood and guts for her to finally unleash her potential. Olivia Oldham-Stevens, fresh from an emotional exit from BNTM, talks crying, criticism and calling Charlotte ‘plus-size’. Very briefly. Let’s file this in our short but sweet interviews, shall we?

With Kirsty gone, you’d think the sport of Kirsty-bashing would have died a death, right? But no, the fact that she’d taken bestie Nicola’s leaving letter with her was enough to have Alisha spluttering that Kirsty’s promise of an email copy of the letter was not good enough – ‘I wanna see her handwriting!’ (which you probably will do via the magic arts of a scanner) and complaining the fridge where the letters were pinned ‘looks unequal – there should be seven and now they’re six!’ (well, actually there should be eight but I suppose you all forgot about poor old Susan). Sensible Tiffany, doing a VT in her nightie, didn’t see what the big deal was. The big deal, dear Tiffany, was to eke out the last drop of Kirsty-bashing before she was gone for good. Love her or hate her (I think I know which camp Alisha was in), you couldn’t help but have an opinion on Kirsty Parsons, the latest BNTM evictee. Despite having a professional attitude in shoots, bags of potential and the strongest photos of the series (I think you can guess what camp I was in!), Kirsty still got the boot – even if Julian reckoned she looked like ‘Tina Turner on acid’. She takes time out to talk Kirsty-bashing, hectic schedules and why the girls ‘hate to love but love to hate’.

Charlotte, Joy & Kirsty

After last week’s Alisha Show, it was inevitable that the next episode of BNTM would seem somewhat flat in comparison. The producers certainly tried to up the ante by throwing as many challenges as possible at the girls – making them shoot in sub-zero temperatures and stupid costumes in Norway, model couture hats and most difficult of all, try to make New Look clothes look good. However, sometimes all you need is a drunk girl TALKING VERY LOUDLY. Never mind, a truly shocking bottom two almost made up for it. Hit see more for our recap.
