She takes that bloody keyboard everywhere
We first wrote about VV Brown back in November, posing the question ‘Is VV Brown vv good?’ The answer was yes by the way but no-one seemed to take much notice, with first single Crying Blood flopping, second single LEAVE! flopping and third single Shark In The Water currently doing slightly-better-than-flopping-but-still-flopping-nonetheless. Now her album, Travelling Like The Light has arrived and all I can reiterate is: VV Brown is vv good. Seriously.

When we first watched this video it had us smiling into our Cheerios, and now three, five, ten views later - it leaves us feeling just as warm and fuzzy inside. In fact this video is so sweet it could put a smile on Simon Cowell’s face - and it’s made some weirdos on youtube cry (not us though, promise!). Our celebrity obsessions have taken us to some pretty weird places - including outside Mariah Carey’s London hotel at 4am in the morning (don’t ask) and a multitude of CD:UK filmings (do any of you remember CD:UK or am I that old)… Never however, did I attempt to kidnap my favourite boyband to resurrect my ailing high school social status. This rather contrived situation forms the plot of Taking 5 featuring actually-quite-good real-life band The Click Five. To celebrate the film’s July 20 release we’ve got 10 copies of the film on DVD to give away. Hit “see more” to enter.

So we’ve just been sent a trailer to one of the most ridiculous straight to DVD movies we’ve seen in a while and we couldn’t stop laughing the whole way through it. Not to be confused in any way with Eagle Vs Shark (hilarious comedy from the same guys that did Flight of the Conchords), Mega Shark Vs. Giant Octopus tells the epic story of...well I’m guessing this one speaks for itself here, but we’ve been told that this will be the most titanic struggle ever witnessed that will see Two mythical beasts, defying the laws of nature and threatening the entire of humanity in a vicious battle to certain death!
