The Wanted 1 - teentoday.co.uk 0 (and Jay sings to us)

So you lot, when we brought you part 1 of our The Wanted interview a couple of weeks back we noted that ‘You can also watch them slowly slink into the chairs until they look just like heads with great hair, balanced on top of a table’ but what we didn’t realise at the time was that this was not in fact driven by a deep spiritual connection / boyband body language mirroring type thing whereby they all disappeared from view led by Max. In fact it was actually a cruel, dastardly trick at our expense. And we’re very mad right now. Very, very mad…

Samsaya - Good With The Bad. Very good song by someone we know nothing about

Sometimes unexpectedly great songs drift into your life, lodge themselves somewhere in your head and rapidly become your ‘jam’ over the next few days, shooting up your iTunes most-played, and soundtracking every moment from brushing your teeth to watching Phil Mitchell go totally off the rails during Eastenders. That’s if you go ahead and hit ‘see more’…

Beautiful Malice by Rebecca James - must-read Monday!

With a $1 million publishing deal and hailed as “the next J.K Rowling” by The Wall Street Journal, there is a lot of hype at the moment surrounding Rebecca James and her psychological teen thriller, Beautiful Malice. But despite all the hype and apparent success of the novel, this is a book that polarises critics and fans alike. Some say that it is too dramatic; the characters appear to be stolen from Neighbours, the plot farcical and the ending anti-climatic. Whilst others cannot rave enough about how gripping the book is, how real the characters feel and how much they love the different flashback series throughout. So what’s a person to think when there are such contrasting and varied opinions? Why, just read teentoday.co.uk’s review – the definitive and only opinion that counts!
