The winners are… Wintercraft books and £50 Topshop voucher

Dear reader, I was this close to putting on my finest outfit and hitting the town with a bottle of vodka to celebrate the fact that for once, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU had answered our - admittedly very easy - competition question CORRECTLY.

However it appears that 2 of you believe that until now ‘the girl’ has collected ‘pictures of a braless Britney Spears’ rather than the far-more obvious and fantasy-novel appropriate ‘escaped capture’… a few of you also seemed to have a problem with your computer’s copy and paste functionality, and actually answered the question with details of the prize. Anyway, 10 of you won books, one of you won a £50 Topshop voucher. Here’s the details.

Emma B < Winner of Topshop voucher. NOT on twitter. Presumably not the ex Spice Girl.

BOOKS:
Cally F
Daniel R
Abbie G
Kat
Siobhan
Eleanor
Megan J
Kate
Emily K
Tanya

Quite a lot of you requested a complete book / further details about the Krispy Kreme potential answer. We’ll pass that onto the publishers.

It may seem like everyone at TT is a rabid music fiend, but every now and again we like to expand our horizons and stretch our imaginations with a good book or two. Wintercraft is a fantasy novel written by first-time novelist Jenna Burtenshaw and to mark its release we have 10 copies and a £50 Topshop voucher to give away to you lucky readers. Hit ‘see more’ to find out how you can get your grubby mitts on one.

Streetdance 3D - the winner of the £200 gift card is…

Good news people. Seems like bribing teentoday.co.uk to say nice things about you / your product / your film release in return for insane prizes for us to give away actually pays off. After we described Streetdance 3D as featuring “familiar dancers-from-the ghetto vs dancers-classically-trained guilty pleasure plotline” (not quite as enthusiastic as we remember it) the film topped the UK box office. Yay. There’s more good news for Annabelle who has won a £200 Vue cinema gift card. We’ve picked a runner up too - they get a hat worn by one of the stars of the film - no idea who - and a copy of the soundtrack. That person is… Abbie. Congrats.

To celebrate the release of Streetdance 3D aka Step Up the UK edition - which intitial investigations confirm features every UK dance act / street troupe-type thing since the beginning of time (or reality TV at least) and the familiar dancers-from-the ghetto vs dancers-classically-trained guilty pleasure plotline - the lovely people at Vue Cinemas have given us a £200 gift card, exclusive film memorobilia (a hat worn by one of the stars of the film, not even washed) and a copy of the film’s soundtrack to give away. Want the chance to see every good film released this year free? Hit ‘see more’.

The winners are… Dot to Dot festival tickets

Oh dear. Looks like lots of you are going to be having a rather mundane Bank Holiday Monday. We asked you to tell us what you’d be doing if you didn’t win Dot to Dot tickets from the UK’s only teen site worth talking about - winners, the people we pity most. And we thought our lives were bad. Lowlights included…

- Watching the re-run of Deal Or No Deal.
- Working at my lovely job at McDonalds. Yep. Enough said.
- Stuck in a traffic jam in my friends car, hearing her JLS album on repeat. < (some might quite enjoy this)
- Sitting in front of the TV eating ice cream and watching Jeremy Kyle.
- Browsing round facebook and twitter.. instead i can browse through your fab site!! < not sure this person 'got it'.
- Taking my bald cat called Henry out for a walk.
- Well since i have no idea what "mediocre" means i guess i cant really answer this question.. < oh dear.

- And a note to our friends LISA/RICHARD/MARK/THOMAS - enjoy 'revision'.

But the 2 worst - and now narrowly avoided misspent days - were:

I'd be revising for my AS levels, or procrastinating revising for my AS levels. SUCKS! < For experiencing the pain that so many of you currently are Melissa T

I will probably be sat on my butt surfing teentoday. Not such a crisis, but I would much prefer to go to Dot to Dot, as I live in Manchester smile < Zoe C, because we’re selfless like that.

They get a pair of Dot to Dot Manchester tickets each. Now don’t you feel about 6.8 times better about your own existence?

This summer, we promised to do things you’ve wanted to try, but never got around to doing on the promise that you would all try it after we had a fun/awful [delete as applicable] time, and that you would tell us about it. For our first event, we’re heading off to Dot to Dot festival in Bristol, but the lovely people at Dot to Dot have given us two pairs of tickets to the Manchester date (Monday 31 May) so at least four of you can go and see what all the fuss is about too. Hit ‘see more’.

The winners are… iPod nano and 25 signed copies of Della Says: OMG

Over 200 of you were willing to give up details of your personal life in return for the *chance* to win an iPod nano. Good work. Infact we had so much fun reading your entries that we were going to use this winners announcement to share, in excruciating detail, all your deepest, darkest, diary-worthy secrets. We’d gone as far as creating an article called “It’s your darkest secrets for everyone to see! Yay” and categorising over ONE HUNDRED OF THEM into groups like:

- cheating
- more details please
- bad friends
- my big fat gay secret
- you’re not alone
- should have made one up
- toilet near misses
- obviously from compers aka grown-arse adults
- unethical / depressing, yes we’re judging you

But then the sun started shining and we got distracted by more important things like creating our own ShakeToday milkshake recipe. Luckily for you, that means we’re just going to list the comp winners below, and your secrets will remain just that. For at least this week that is. The winners of a signed copy of Della Says: OMG are as follows:

Tigs < GETS the iPod too
Shaun
Chloe
Brid
Danielle
Jessie
Hepzibah
Krupa
Kayleigh
Nuhdeen
Hannah
Aime
Emma
Sophie
Isabella
Cherlynn
Amie
Alison
Stephen
Zoe
Autumn
Annie
Iffath
Urika
Amelia

Before we go, here’s just one secret to give you an idea of the comedy gold we’re holding top secret at TT HQ: “I asked my friend if we were supposed to brush our pubes and she laughed at me. She promised not to tell anyone about my question, but the next day the whole school was laughing at me and some of the boys where wearing combs taped to the fronts of their trousers!”

:-(

What better way to start the long weekend then with the opportunity to win an iPod nano and one of 25 signed copies of new book Della Says: OMG? Hit ‘see more’…

And the winners are… Diana Vickers albums

Not sure if you lot were being extremely clever or more-likely we were being a bit dumb, but when we asked “What thing would you only do ONCE, ONCE, ONCE?” it wasn’t actually a game of complete the song lyric. Therefore everyone who answered “let you kill me” has been excluded. Sorry. Other notable entries include the person who said “enter this competition” and then proceeded to enter FIVE TIMES. Oh, and the person who answered “listen to the album"… honest but not exactly grabbing us as a person who is going to appreciate the prize. Anyway, onto the winners of the Diana Vickers albums:

Congratulations to:
Sunanda Tell the headteacher to piss off.
Gaby Marry Aston Merrygold
Bethany Get hit in the elbow with a cricket bat like today ;O
Joe I would only do Olly from TT ONCE, ONCE, ONCE. All those ONCEs add up to three, I’ll get bored of him then =P
Ellie HIDE IN OLLYS CUPBOARD AND SCARE HIM :D

Other things you would only do once:
- Eat soup whilst riding a bike
- Eat a worm
- Die * 86
- When you are in the airport and the security guy asks you “Have you anything to declare?” answer back “ Oh yeah, I have a bomb.” Then, hold up a little wired bomb shaped play-doh ball.
- Eat KFC… after the fried rat stories, never again.
- Ride a tiger
- Marry a bad boy. Who knew my mother would be right?? They DON’T make good husbands. (err...)

PS. THOMAS/RICHARD/MARK IS BACK.

Whether you’ve always been a fan of Diana Vickers’ unique wailing or have have just joined camp ‘loving the Vickers right now’ welcome to today’s competition - an opportunity to win her debut album Songs From The Tainted Cherry Tree absolutely free with your favourite teen site. Hit ‘see more’.
