Though you probably wouldn’t want to be our cinema buddy as we have a tendency to let out rather manly screams at the smallest jump, bump or slash (including that bit in Sixth Sense where Mischa Barton vomits under the blanket. What!?! It’s bloody creepy) we’re massive fans or slow-burn, my family’s being torn apart by an outsider-type horror films. Hit see more to tell us what you think about Orphan.

So we’ve just been sent a trailer to one of the most ridiculous straight to DVD movies we’ve seen in a while and we couldn’t stop laughing the whole way through it. Not to be confused in any way with Eagle Vs Shark (hilarious comedy from the same guys that did Flight of the Conchords), Mega Shark Vs. Giant Octopus tells the epic story of...well I’m guessing this one speaks for itself here, but we’ve been told that this will be the most titanic struggle ever witnessed that will see Two mythical beasts, defying the laws of nature and threatening the entire of humanity in a vicious battle to certain death!

The new trailer for Aliens in the Attic looks bloody brilliant. Sort-of cute knee high alien invaders that come in pieces (watch the trailer) armed with a treasure trove of super-advanced gadgets, teentoday.co.uk favourite the Tisdale, a cast of floppy-haired cute boys and the ultimate battle of good vs evil. What else could you want? Well, how about a radio controlled kungfu Supergran? Enough for you? Hit “see more” to see the Aliens in the Attic trailer.

Watch video footage from Tuesday’s Harry Potter premiere
When we headed down to Leicester Square last month for the Brüno premiere (and managed to get our arm signed by the man himself) we thought it was busy, but that was nothing compared to Tuesday’s Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince premiere - at least half of London was gripped by Pottermania and had turned up for a chance to catch a glimpse of Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe, and the author herself J K Rowling, on the red carpet. But if you couldn’t make it down for what’s set to be Summer’s biggest film premiere, we’ve got your back… hit “see more” for video footage and loads of photos from the day. Don’t say we don’t look out for you.

Men are from Mars, women are from Venus - the Hollywood romantic cliché that never dies. If you’ve seen the trailer for The Ugly Truth you’ve undoubtedly seen the film. How it works: driven but unlucky in love singleton Abby (Katherine Heigl) meets rough-around-edges womaniser Mike (Gerard Butler). They’re about to fall in love but won’t know it for another 90 minutes.
First we have to see the Lothario advise the singleton on how to get her crush (Eric Winter) to fall for her using a series of antiquated misogynistic techniques ("eat the hotdog sloooooooowly” etc etc), whilst he, at the same time, falls for the real her himself. Undoubtedly, after his realisation, he will the start to sabotage the hook up for his own personal gain. Throw in a few barmy shouting incidents, some random hijinks, a few moments of equal parts confusion and sexual tension, some quirky characters on the sidelines, and wrap up with the inevitable get together. Done. So why are we featuring it? Hit “see more"…

The film version of The Time Traveller’s Wife has been stuck in post-production hell for a long time despite, at one stage, being one of the most hotly-anticipated films in ages. Generally, sitting on studio’s shelves for extensive tinkering and pushed-back release dates means the film will be crap. The trailer has finally emerged (another slightly worrying factor given it’s out on August 14) and has done nothing to suggest it won’t be a little bit rubbish. But don’t take our word for it - click see more to check out the trailer and some stills for yourself.
