It’s here at last - video evidence of McFly’s Group Bop-It attempt. We asked you to guess the boys’ group score and undeterred by Dougie’s glazed-over expression in the pictures we provided (he was always going to be the weakest link wasn’t he?) you predicted rather generously. In other words the following video is very short, and they were a bit crappy at Bop-It. Video after the jump - hit ‘see more’…

UPDATED: We’ve updated this article with a video of the McFly boys performing this track over the weekend. The review below was written after we attended the boys’ album playback last month.
The third and final song we heard at the album playback, I’ll Be Your Man was written in London with Dallas Austin, and is the result of the band’s desire for a more “sexy and soulful” sound. And if you hit ‘see more’ you can hear TT’s verdict.

Last week in our Rachel Furner introduction article we made a succession of backhanded compliments and digs at Pixie Lott but celebrated the fact that she normally avoids the overly-angsty lyrical content of her contemporaries. So after hearing Broken Arrow, the first single from the rerelease of debut album Turn It Up, the fantastically-named Turn It Up Louder (payrise for whoever came up with that one), we felt our worst fears were about to be realised - an angst-y dirge-y ballad from the woman whose constant musical and lyrical positivity has proven irresistable… but then we listened a few more times, hit ‘see more’…

You may not realise it, but most of you will already know Bruno Mars. He’s appeared on songs that reached no.1 (Nothin’ On You with B.o.B) and no.3 (Travie McCoy’s Billionaire) in the UK charts. He also has songwriting credits on several more no.1s, including Get Sexy by the Sugababes and Flo Rida’s Right Round, the song that introduced Ke$ha to the world. OK, so none of these songs are pure pop gold, but keep reading cos you’ll want to hear what’s next.

When we invented the concept of the Pop Star Bop It League we didn’t expect that the third person to make a solo attempt would COMPLETE THE BLOODY THING. But that’s exactly what has happened. JayTheWanted has joined the ranks of the few people ON THE PLANET with the mental agility, supercharged reactions and great barnet to complete Bop-It by successfully bopping, twisting, flicking, spinning and pulling 250 TIMES. To say this is a seminal moment in pop music history would hardly speak of its magnitude.

As promised, here’s the final part of our recent interview with The Wanted. As you now know, some of the replies shouted back at us are actually carefully crafted ploys to score points with their manager Jayne and humiliate teentoday.co.uk, not serious answers (we’re specifically talking about Jay at the 2.06 mark) but that doesn’t stop the whole thing being jolly good fun. Hit ‘see more’…
