Amazing news people, yesterday Ryan claimed that he was ‘like ghandi but better at bopit’, today Lawson have been officially crowned most significant and talented pop act after topping the teentoday.co.uk Pop Star Bop-It League. Their astounding score took them straight to the top of the chart, followed by inferior performances by less-good pop stars such as..... Oh.

Lawson are actually the first people to enter the TT Group Bop-It League - hit ‘see more’ to see how they did.

You, your gran and some aliens from the planet Zog probably know about the rocky relationship between teentoday.co.uk and The Saturdays by now. We love them, we hate them, we wanna be them (well, Una anyway) – but however we feel about them, you could never accuse us of being indifferent. Until now, that is as the whole Headlines project is very easy to be indifferent about.

Is it an EP? Is it a re-release? Is it a half-arsed collection of four new songs, one cover and three old ones with no real sense of purpose and more Autotune than the entire cast of Glee (yes, even Cory Monteith)? Make up your own minds but here’s our track-by-track review:

Is it just me or has this season of BNTM been moving at an accelerated pace? We’ve already had makeovers and tonight we got two photo-shoots for the price of one, a shock elimination and go-sees, usually the preserves of the later stages of the competition – at this rate, the winner might be crowned within a fortnight! We don’t know whether it’s the sunshine suddenly being out that has meant that we’re suddenly in festival music season, or whether it’s the fact that we haven’t drunk anything that isn’t cider or Pimms since the beginning of June. Or perhaps we have just finally reached our saturation point when it comes to electronic drums, synths and autotune (obviously we will retract all of this when we hear Britney’s new album, worry not) and we’re ready to hear something different.
