Lady Vanderbilt necklaces - and the winners are…

*Update: this competition is now closed, thank you for all your entries. Before I tell you the lucky bods that are waltzing away with a beautiful personalised Lady Vanderbilt necklace, a few things about having to describe yourself with the first initial of your name – I’m not sure I needed to know that many of you were ‘kinky’, all you ‘jolly’ people could have done better and if I had a wooden spoon, it would be winging its way to the person who entered with the word ‘lemon’. In caps lock. FIVE TIMES. Under five different names, but all with the same postal address AND LAST NAME. Lemon indeed.

Anyway, congrats to:

Luminous : ) Lauren from Birmingham
Vivian the Vamp from Wolverhampton
Blinging Beth from Essex
Knackered Kerry from Yorkshire (we know how you feel!)
Lazy Lucy from Surrey (we know how you feel too!)
…and an Ole! for Olivia in Belfast.

If you didn’t win, why not head over to http://www.ladyvanderbilt.com and give yourself a pre-Christmas treat (or set it as a conspicuous homepage for the next time your rents log on). And we expect you all to be entering our fab Elsiebelle competition too. See you there!*

About six months ago, we ran a competition for you to win some gorgeous Lady Vanderbilt necklaces – and we swear, we’re still receiving entries now, it was that popular. Those necklaces are long gone… but the lovely folk at Lady V now have a brand new set of designs out and guess who’s managed to nab some for you lot to win? (Us of course!).

In May, we pronounced Lady Vanderbilt ‘glitzy, glam and girlie’ (and were one of the first UK sites to tell you about them, natch) and nothing has changed with their new range. Except this time, they’ll be even more personal to you as you can pick what 14k-gold coated letter you would like to be hanging amongst the colour-coordinated Swarovski crystals. You can see a few examples in our banner pic, but all letters from A-Z are available and we have 6 necklaces up for grabs, featuring whatever initial you so desire. And if you don’t win (boo hoo!), you can always head over to their gorgeous website http://www.ladyvanderbilt.com and purchase one yourself (USD $36).

To be in with a shot of winning, you just have to fill out the entry form below, telling us what letter initial you want and a word beginning with that letter that describes you (so as I’m Rach, I’d pick ‘R’ because I’m ravishing – and that means all you lot can’t use ‘ravishing’ as your word anymore, sorry!). Plus all the usual like name, email and postal address. Good luck!

Competition closed.
