In an uncharacteristic fit of productivity 2 weeks back we launched new feature / attempt to reward our loyal visitors - member of the week. Since then? Nothing, nadda, zip. Infact we’ve been out and about lauding it up with our celebrity fans and neglected our hard working and passionate community. :-( But our second wind’s arrived, we’re not hungover, and we’ve managed to hunt down the elusive person who we think made the greatest contribution to the site last week. And their name is revealed after the jump.
The winner of the inaugural teentoday.co.uk member of the week and winner of the CD, DVD or MP3 album of their choice (well, we say choice - but no boxsets okay? We’re teetering on bankruptcy here) is Ashleigh… we originally found Ashleigh on Spinebreakers and after stealing bringing her to teentoday.co.uk she has swiftly become one of our most prolific posters. But dear reader (and non-winners) Ashleigh isn’t all about quantity - this girl has quality to match. 144 actual contributions to the site - not just LOL, I agree or eh? - but fully formed sentences with full stops, capitalisation and all the rest of it.
Ashleigh’s range of posts vary from organ donation to favourite books of 2009.
Pushing our social networking functionality to its limits, she’s even filled in her profile page with lots and lots of words (in proper paragraphs), an avatar and a personal snap. And, proving her dedication to the teentoday.co.uk cause (global fame and all that) she even brought a friend to the site.
Ashleigh - we salute you. Please continue your tireless and until-today unrewarded contribution to the site. And the rest of you lot?
