Whilst our small but deadly two-person team continues to bring you the best in new music, film, style, competitions, quizzes and general lunacy, our message boards have suffered from their lack of love and cuddles. Hit “see more” to see how you can get involved.

In their heyday the teentoday.co.uk message boards were a vibrant community. Yes, they had more drama then an episode of Ugly Betty but there was joy, tears, support, friendships and even real-life get togethers *said with a proud tear in the eye*. It’s time for their long-overdue resurgence. We’re looking for our users - in other words you lot - to get involved and help us resurrect the message boards. Shameless, aren’t we? We need people to moderate, promote and manage the message boards.

The roles on offer...
1. A message board manager to head the team of moderators, plan the growth of the boards and work with with us to make them the Web’s best message boards for teenagers, and then some.
2. Moderators to welcome new members, delete inappropriate posts and spam, intervene in flame wars and feedback ideas to the message board manager.
3. People to help promote the boards to their mates.
4. Members - y’know someone’s gotta actually make some posts.

How to get involved...
- First, get involved on the boards, post some messages and make a name for yourself (preferably don’t be hated)
- Tell some friends about the site and get ‘em involved.
- PM me and let me know that you want to be considered for a role listed above
- Experience helps, but more so we’re looking for people with passion, the desire to learn, and the chance to genuinely contribute.

Seriously though, the ideal people for these roles need to be prepared to work tirelessly for free in the hope of creating a fantastic, safe and rewarding community for other young people.

That’s not to say we won’t look out for the people that help us. You can expect freebies and gifts (trust us, we’ve got a lot of great stuff lying around at teentoday.co.uk towers), training and experience in community management, a reference for your CV, the chance to get even more involved in the site if when it grows, and if you’re really good, cheese ‘n’ crackers and a VIP ticket to a legendary teentoday.co.uk night on the tiles.
