Sugababes interview part 1

6 months ago as I manically tried to outstare Alex Roots in TT HQ my living room, it would have been a brave and frankly misguided prediction that it would lead to an interview with the Sugababes (v27). But dear reader, thanks to the power of the interwebs and lots of hardwork from team TT, that is exactly what’s happened. From Alex Roots, and Girls Can’t Catch via Esmée Denters, Livvi Franc and Ke$ha - to a London hotel room with Amelle, Jade, Heidi and a massive plate of steak and chips. Sing it with me: If I had a dime (dime) for every single time (time) these boys stop and stare (stare), I’d have enough money for… a Kinder Bueno.
From Brits wardrobe malfunctions (and unforgiving bandmates) to shouty Alicia Keys and GaGa’s bizarre performance, to never meeting Jay-Z and secretly waving to their mums from the stage (yes, they do it too). Oh and there’s also some Sean Kingston bashing courtesty of me. Here’s part 1 of the interview. Part 2 coming over the weekend.

The girls seem really laid back and comfortable in this interview. Nice to see that Olly was honest when giving his opinion on the album as well. I’m looking forward to seeing the next part.

I agree with the comments that have been posted already. It’s great to see the girls really relaxed after a few unsettled months and nice not to see them having to answer the same old questions and giving the same boring answers.
Looking forward to seeing part 2 (and seeing the girls at the album launch next week)
P.S I assume that was Grace telling you politely to get the hell out of way! LOL
