And the winner is… ShakeAway edition

Custard, maple syrup, Baileys, bubblegum - and this just in the 5 most recent entries - your suggested ShakeAway ingredients were unpalatable inventive to say the least. But after careful deliberation and a great deal of salivating we have at last decided on the winner, and only 7 days after we said we would - we’re getting good at this. 50 great entries (and one that simply said “nice topic” - which we suppose could mean the chocolate bar) down to one incredibly fortunate winner. Her name? Claire Levers - congratulations. Your combination of Curly Wurly, (teentoday.co.uk favourite) Daim Bar, topped with flake had us planning our next visit - and more importantly consisted of ingredients actually found at ShakeAway.

And to the rest of you? Dry those salty tears and keep your eyes firmly planted on teentoday.co.uk for more great comps coming soon.

And Happy Christmas to you too. Back in generous mode, we’ve partnered with the *original and best* purveyors of choccie bar blended milkshakes ShakeAway for our latest competition. And how’s this for a money-can’t-buy type prize? Not only can you and three mates learn the masterful skills of a Shakette (see what they did there?) in your own private milkshake-making lesson but you can have one named after you and sold in store, and win a year’s supply too… Hit “see more”.

For the uninitiated, which judging by their rapid expansion is fewer of you by the week, ShakeAway milkshakes are bloody genius - a blended mix of your favourite confectionary - Twix? Yes Dime Bar? Yes After bloomin’ Eights? Of course - with milk and ice cream and suitably unhealthy cream topping. We love them (and we’ve not been paid to say it).

Milkshakes at Christmas? What madness is this? Well not at all - because ShakeAway’s shakes are life-changingly indulgent treats that deserve to be drunk year round - plus the festive season has seen the introduction of mince pie, Christmas pud and chocolate log into the mix (see what we did there?), available hot or cold and with an optional brandy sauce topping.

Not fussed with adding some festive cheer to your shake? Then go crazy with their array of over 150 ingredients - creating concoctions like apple pie and custard or slightly less appealing healthier options like strawberry and banana or even bizarre combos like extra strong mint and melon.

For your chance to win a a free milkshake every month for a year and a master-class for you and 3 mates, plus have your own shake sold in store for a month just register on the site, and leave a comment below with what killer combo you’d make in the lesson.

The lovely ShakeAway people have a website. It’s here: www.shakeaway.com.
