It’s Monday. It’s Olly’s update. It’s not as long as last week

After starting last week on a low note, you’ll be pleased to know that it actually turned out okay. Hit ‘see more’ to see what we’ve been up to, what we have planned and progress on #saveteentoday.

In music, I went to interview Bieber with Beats Fugative at Ministry of Sound. Jolly nice chap and you can expect to see that interview online any day now as soon as I have working speakers/my beautiful new MacBook Pro. Post interview I enjoyed a rather drunken chat with ex-stylist of Geri Halliwell, BEP, Emma Bunton and John Mayer and managed to get loads of great but not exactly life-changing gossip, I’ve asked her to undergo the TT TV interview treatment, so let’s see how that plays out.

I’ve also got interviews with Adam Lambert and Iyaz planned for this week, presumably ash cloud dependent although we’re yet to check. The poor things, potentially losing the opportunity to promote their music through the Web’s most powerful platform: TT:TV. In other music news, Grace introduced you to rather cool drummer type Florrie who’s on team Xenomania and we’ve optimistically labelled a superstar in the making - take a look and make your own mind up. Oh, and if you can recover from the shock that they can write full sentences as well as death threats, we also have 8 copies of the N-Dubz book Against All Odds to give away.

In other introductions, we also said hello to new TT team member Renee, and not one of you took the time to welcome her. Rather disappointing you lot, so toddle over there, be nice and make it up to me. She’s waiting to solve your beauty dilemmas and she’s rather good at it. We also resurrected our Make-Up Miracles franchise, with a rather fawning review of Barry-M nail paints.

Our quest to give you an epic existence continues, with Rach’s creation of so-good-we-should-be-charging-you-for-them-but-we’re-too-nice-for-that revision guides. Lots of you have exams coming up, so get on it, realise your potential and *insert other generic motivational phrases your mum would use*.

The chance to win a PGL Holiday was extended. If you’re yet to enter, we want a letter from your parents explaining why. You have until Wednesday.

And I’ve stopped drinking again.

#SAVETEENTODAY
Save teentoday.co.uk continues and last week thanks to YOU, and A LOT* of ranting, we smashed our target for new Facebook fans and twitter followers (both of which send traffic to the site).

Our goal for FB fans was 880 BUT WE MANAGED 925 FANS
Our goal for twitter followers was 3,400 BUT WE MANAGED 3,414

It’s fair to say that the bunting and party poppers are out at TT HQ and it’s all thanks to you, OUR MUCH LOVED, DEDICATED, BEAUTIFUL TT-ERS.

For next Sunday the goal is 3,600 followers and 1,000 fans on Facebook. We’re pretty sure you want to help us achieve that. If we’re right, here’s how:

- Follow us on twitter, RT comedy gold, and encourage people to follow us with random recommendations like “Follow @teentoday they’re AMAZING?!!?”
- Fan us on Facebook and hit ‘Suggest to Friends’ to encourage them to enter the madhouse. I’ve even included a picture below to illustrate.

And that’s it. Thank you again.
