Watch video footage from Tuesday’s Harry Potter premiere

When we headed down to Leicester Square last month for the Brüno premiere (and managed to get our arm signed by the man himself) we thought it was busy, but that was nothing compared to Tuesday’s Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince premiere - at least half of London was gripped by Pottermania and had turned up for a chance to catch a glimpse of Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe, and the author herself J K Rowling, on the red carpet. But if you couldn’t make it down for what’s set to be Summer’s biggest film premiere, we’ve got your back… hit “see more” for video footage and loads of photos from the day. Don’t say we don’t look out for you.

Unfortunately even Harry himself couldn’t stop the typical British Summer weather, so the stars (complete with burly bodyguards brandishing umbrellas) braved the clouds, rain and even hail - yes hail in July - to sign autographs and pose with fans. We’ve already told you that we’ve got a massive girl crush on Emma Watson despite her much-snapped wardrobe malfunction. And, we we’re pleased to see that she looks even even more beautiful on film (footage below).

Half teddy bear, half hunk Rupert Grint left us with a cheeky grin on our faces - doesn’t he look dapper in a suit? We can’t help but think he’d be great fun on one of the legendary teentoday.co.uk nights on the town although - despite bragging of his drinking prowess on the red carpet - we doubt he could outdrink us. (we may have underestimated the guy: if rumours are to believed then Rupert actually got so drunk after the film’s premiere he got into the wrong car the next morning.)

However the teentoday.co.uk Sack The Stylist Award has to go to Daniel Radcliffe, who was more gay ferret styled wearing granddad suit, than leading man. And what is that side parting about!?! Sorry guys, we’re sure he’s lovely, but pink shirts aren’t doing DanRad any favours - don’t you agree?
