Diana Vickers talks second album, Ellie Goulding, music with TT

Diana Vickers has a single out this week (The Boy Who Murdered Love) and the video includes an attractive person. In related video-with-attractive-person news here’s me speaking to Diana a few weeks back about her second album (yes, already), Ellie Goulding being a bit of a moose (or not, as it turned out) and an explanation of TT’s controversial quote technique. Exciting.
You’ll also see me make several attempts to get Diana to say something obnoxious or exclusive (Alexandra Burke stealing Hallelujah and making it very shouty, the name of the new, new single) but fail every time. At least I tried, eh? In better news I did, however, manage to get Diana to reveal her favourite song on the album, and if you didn’t already see that in our 29-second teaser clip, you should probably hit play to find out what it is, shouldn’t you? Very poor interview., Alex’s Hallelujah was miles better and sold over 1 million copies.Diana is already struggling with her career and her new song is only at 35 in the mid week chart.

Alexandra’s Hallelujah, although not terrible, was nowhere as good as Diana’s. If Diana had released her version, it would also have sold a million copies. Diana’s voice does the song justice, Alex’s does not.
Diana’s hardly struggling with her career, blame iTunes or her Record Company, for the bugger up with regards to downloading her new single. Whilst Diana may not, as yet, have the same commercial success as Alexandra, in terms of record sales, she is a bigger star, and, by far, the hotter property. Alex’s music has been around for almost a year, Diana’s for 3 months. Give her some time. Also, the TV show Glee’s Producers want Diana for their next season.
Diana’s career is only just beginning, and she’s going to go far.

Nice interview. I like the style of it ..its a bit different. Looking forward to part 2. Diana’s album has moved back into the top 20 this week at #16 today. For an album released this time of year sales have been reasonable.

Hi all, Just to say that I liked the interviews with Diana Vickers & also I have to say this that Diana Vickers singing Voice is so Refreshing. I have seen Diana’s music videos on tv & they are excellent infact she is the sexiest singer on TV & I know it sounds like I fancy Diana but who wouldn’t with a Beautiful Voice like Diana’s. Everyone forgive me if this sounds abit over the top what I have written.

Woah, it’s a bit negative in here, isn’t it? While I don’t know what her sales have been like, a gold #1 album and a #1 single isn’t a bad start at all. I have no idea why her latest single is doing badly. It’s a good song and she’s promoted it quite well, I think. It’s rising in the charts at the moment but it looks like it’ll still miss out on the top 20 which is a shame.
You made good attempts at trying to get some controversy out of her! Did you notice though she said RE Alexandra’s voice it’s ‘big belching’ rather than ‘big, belting’. A slip of the tongue but you could’ve used that. ‘Alexandra Burp: Diana Vickers likens Alexandra Burke’s voice to belches’ or something.

well may i say that diana is incredible okay yes her secong single isn’t doing great, but its rising and also no one knows about her in europe also is everyone forgetting she had a number 1 album and single, also her single once is still doing okay same for her album so take that you lezbian alexandra lovers!!!
