Question of the day: is Big Brother past it? (+ watch drunk Verne again and again!)

Who can believe that the sad, soppy, stroppy Ulrika was this year’s Big brother champion? She whined about missing her kids (what kind of mother leaves her 7 month old baby anyway?), moaned about the boys’ bullying, walked around with a face like a slapped arse (well… maybe she only has that one face!) and spent most of her time begging to be voted out – though don’t worry Ulrika, we could all see through that shallow glass exterior of yours (like Terry did) and we all knew that you were dying to win…

But with celeb Big Brother on its 6th series some of those brilliant earlier highlights are still haunting our minds – fatty Feltzs’ oh so public breakdown (“I’m going mad… totally mad!”), gormless Greer’s hasty exit (I mean come on… what else did she expect on celeb Big Bro?) and dense Jade’s long-overdue career-breaking blunder, the real question is – do we even care anymore? And though a wankered Verne speed-driving his scooter into the Big Brother door looks set to be this year’s funniest TV moment (yes, we know it’s not even February) we at teentoday.co.uk have to ask the question - has Big Brother finally gone bust or has it survived the credibility crunch?
