This clip of brand new Saturday night BBC show Hole In The Wall is the best thing you’ll see this week. Forget hand-held mobile devices and other high-tech gadgetry: Japanese exports just got a whole lot more funny.
Hole In The Wall sees second-rate celebrities, dressed in head-to-toe tinfoil outifts, scramble to fit themselves through a hole in a rapidly approaching foam wall. To get through they just need to contort themselves into a series of ever-more complex positions. If they fail, the wall pushes them head-first into water, the crowd cheers and (almost) everyone celebrates. teentoday.co.uk is happy to keep paying its TV license for quality TV like this.
